i've got nothing

I'm not sure why, but I've got nothing.  I have lots of posts swirling in my brain and lots to say about our fun Labor Day Weekend away but for some reason I'm having trouble doing much these days.   I'm having a challenge with seasonal allergies and like most of the East Coast we have had non-stop rain for days.  This combination is causing me to take a nap every day not be the most focused.  Something that doesn't mix well with the beginning of the school year.  So until I can put some coherent thoughts together on paper, I'm going to post some picture from our weekend and then go to bed.

For the second year in a row, we went to a Young Life Family Camp for Labor Day.  We went with almost all the families in our small group and it was just as much fun as last year.  Next year we are going to get matching shirts...

Again this year, Luke did the screamer swing.  Only this year he did it with Mark and I took the pictures.  It was so funny because during the swinging part, Luke was webbing like spiderman!

John, Luke and their friend Emma went on a raft pulled by a boat ride.  They loved it.
Mark competed in a dizzy bat race, so funny!

Mark and John got called up on stage during club and John learned what smashing a pie into someone's face means.  His reaction was hilarious.

Sister decided to show off during camp and held a cup full of water to her mouth and took a drink.  It was so cute to see her do it and then keep reaching for the cup back.  We are not sure how much she drank but here's photographic evidence that she held a cup...

And finally, we had one of our friend's take a family picture.  See how tired everyone looks.  I think we are going to have this taken on the first day next year.

We also spent a lot of time talking with friends we had not seen since last camp and making new friends.  We are so happy that our small group took this trip together and really look forward to going again next year.

anne you have a beautiful family. and what an awesome weekend you all had. isn't it fun when you can share with others while you're on a relaxing respite-time. we've not had the rain you all have had, but the temps are getting lower and lower. fall is here, where we are. God bless.

I love the picture of Luke being true to his spiderman self! I can't believe how many children there are in the group picture- what an awesome experience for everyone!
