Five Years Ago Today...

Five Years Ago Today...
I became a Mom,
All the longing, hurt, anger, frustration, depression and fear (of it not ever happening) disappeared,
A little 11 month old baby completed me,
All my dreams came true,
I boarded a plane in Guatemala City not as a couple but as a family of 3 and
God blessed me beyond my wildest dreams

Five years ago today, John came home from Guatemala!!

Aww what a beautiful post... Happy forever family day. I remember those exact same feelings from the time I left my house to go to the airport to walking out of the hotel with my daughter in my arms. So amazing.

Great shot too... I love the colors, and the lighting. He's a handsome guy.

Thanks for stopping by my blog :-)

Where does the time go? We just celebrated 3 years with our 3.5 YO, & we are about to celebrate 2 years with our 2.5 YO son!

Seems like all the agony of that wait is so far removed from me now....but I remember how hard it was-many, many tears over that wait.
