easter weekend

Our Easter Weekend was a great way to wrap up our Spring Break!  At the last minute, we were given tickets to see Sesame Street Live, 1-2-3 Imagination with Elmo and Friends on Saturday.  The way it worked out, I took Grace to my parents for the morning and John, Luke & I headed to the show.  The boys are on the older end for this show, but the tickets were free.  AND we have never been to a live show like this, so we decided to check it out.

It turned out to be a really cute show that the boys enjoyed.  It was fun to see their enjoyment of the characters and get into the story of the show.  Also, John was able to hone his photography skills while we were there.  Here are a few of the pictures that he took.

When we got home from the show, we colored eggs.  Which is always a fun activity!

On Sunday, we went to the 8:00 service and it rocked!  I love an Easter service with extra worship!  However, since we went to such an early service - we had our family easter egg hunt really early and then had the kids eat part of their easter loot before church.  Good times.  Later, we headed to my parents house for dinner and another Easter egg hunt.  Minus Mark who worked all weekend and missed almost all of the fun stuff we did this past weekend...

It was a fun and busy weekend, just the right end to our Spring Break.  Today everyone went to school and mommy got some much needed time to herself!

We loved Elmo live. Elmo was so huge here at our house, and Flower still once in a while wants to watch Elmo. Happy blessed Easter to you and your family.
