summer recap...

Yesterday was the first day of school for 2/3 of the Isabella kids...

Which means that summer is over, well at least summer vacation.  So I thought I'd take the opportunity to recap some of the highlights of our summer, because I'm pretty sure if I wait to do a separate post for each activity it will never happen.  So here's some pictures and words to describe a few of the things we have done the past few months.

Always a family favorite is a tour of the Herr's Snack Factory.  I'm pretty sure the boys just like to eat the hot off the conveyer belt chips and get the free bag of chips at the end.  But it is fun to see and this company does a lot for the area we live in.

You may be a red-neck family if one of your favorite events is the rodeo!  We love going to the Cowtown Rodeo.  It is always exciting to go to a live sporting event.  The boys love to see the bull riders and always feel sorry for the calves that get roped.  It was a great night!

A Blue Rock's game is always on our family's summer fun list.  This year the boys were invited to go to a birthday party at the BR's on Star Wars night, which we had already bought tickets to.  Because the BRs rock, we were able to exchange our tickets and Mark went to the game with the boys.  I sent the big camera with Mark, at the boys request, so here are some pictures that Mr. Isabella snapped...
