We became a family of four. Luke's adoption was 6 months start to finish. We accepted his referral on January 6, 2006 and he came home to the USA on July 6, 2006. He was given to us forever on July 4th and it truly has made that holiday a lot more meaningful for our family. I'm sure I said this at his birthday but I'm not sure how in the world FOUR years have gone by. He was such a good baby and really loved to be held and snuggle.
He has stayed the same and is such a loving little boy. He tells people, "I love you so much!" or "I missed you" and he really does. One of his gifts from God is spreading joy and love. Of course, he is also an extremely active boy. I mean really active. He runs and jumps all the time. He adores his brother John and is the only one who calls him 'Johnny'. He is patient and loving with Grace and loves to get her to kiss him. He thinks I hung the moon (which I'm not going to tell him differently) and thinks his dad is the best dad in the whole world. We are so thankful that God picked us to be his family and can't imagine life without him.
When they asked him in preschool what he wanted to be when he grew up, he said Spiderman. Here he is in his cap & gown. How cute is that?!?
I love this little man so much, my heart hurts sometimes.
I'm linking up with Hannah's FFF. Go to her blog here to check out more posts. And have a great weekend!!

What a sweet post for a sweet boy! There is just such a special bond between mama's and their boys.
I love how short your adoption was...that is CRAZY. Ours was 1 1/2 years. Crazy.
Happy 4 years home!
